Key light and timer? 1969

So I'm having a little trouble with my key light.  The bulb is good, it lights if I send 12v to the wire.  Anyone have a source for the timer that powers it?  The '69 Service manual is not exactly clear on the wiring for it.

i took my replacement unit out of an 89 dodge caravan. its plugged in the fuse box.
