PST - LCA strut rod bushing

Starting to put my K frame and suspension together. Went to slip the PST steel bushing (for the ID of the rubber bushings) over the strut rod and it appears to be a press fit. I would have thought it would just slip right on. Anyone else experience this??  :shruggy:

That's how they're supposed to be.  Press fit all the way.
Mopar forever!

Yep, press fit. Don't forget to put the big washer on first like I did  :rotz:  :slap:

 still trying to find a rattle in the front end of the 69 charger  :flame: question what are the torque specs on the torque rod when up on the lift or on the ground,any answers would be appreciated  :cheers:

According to the piece of paper in the PST installation for the strut bushings... that show a washer BACKWARDS... It says Ford and AMC 75 ft lbs, but Mopar's are only 52 ft lbs.

That said... the 1969 Coronet manual states that the nut at the control arm is 100 ft lbs and the nut at the bushings is 50 ft lbs... tightened when the car is on the ground.
