I am not well educated on 500s, but shouldn't the K-frame have a skid plate on it? :shruggy:

Nope.... in '69, only the j-codes would have gotten that.............. Both my previous C500's had the standard V8 k-frame........

Well if original tag existed, along with proofing what is noted above checked....and checked out as nice original 500 body... and you add 7-15k depending on where you are if you can't do it yourself to put it back F3..... that would be a swell car.  Looks nice, just not in F6.  That would be like buying a GNX painted silver.

If I recall, this car did not have a fender tag when it was at Carlisle. Broadcast sheet is with car now. I hooked the old owner up with it.

Please don't allow the indicators of flukes to not be passed on to the next generation of Mopar purists. Send a PM if you'd like!

I like to hear stories like this. Great job!

As far as the fender tag goes, my only comment is that it looks far too perfect, meaning perhaps it is a reproduction off the build sheet the owner now has. He's super  lucky he was able to get ahold of the build sheet if the tag was in fact AWOL.

Given that it has its build sheet, the repro tag isn't that big a deal.

Nice car, too bad it is priced as if it completed the restoration that it really needs.

Tag is obviously a repro. No bent corner is big indicator, but there are more.

Engine stamp is suspect. If hard drive had not crashed I know I had picture of trans stamp.
