I was driven around town by my 17 yr old son, Dakota. He is usually behind the wheel of my 2001 Ram or his Mom's 2015 Durango. But it was so (62 and sunny) nice in Colorado, we had to go out. It was interesting to hear him say what the differences were between all the cars he has driven and he understands yesterday's technology vs today's cars. Then he got a look at my friends 31 Plymouth and now understands the humble "beginnings" of our cars. He has been accepted to CSU this fall for engineering. For the record his Mother and I are both retired military. Dakota wants into Biomedical engineering to develop better human replacement joints. He told us that he wants to help wounded and disabled vets gain their mobility...and their lives back.

Super cool!

Excellent career choice.  That will be far more rewarding than just the monetary gains...

Wishing him all the success in his endeavors.

Good on YOU, Dad!

Awesome pics tsc69rt !!  You must be proud of your son and his goals in  life !  As a combat vet myself, I have seen the damage, mental and physical, that forever haunts these men and women and his chosen field is a worthy and needed profession. It's also one that will make amazing progress with technology moving forward by leaps and bounds now!

Once again, beautiful Charger and a son to be proud of !!

Sweet ride!!! I wouldn't know what it would've been like to drive a charger like that at 17. I didn't get mine til I was 24 but it was worth the wait!!  :yesnod:
