Flex Plate Orientation

Just checking to verify that I have the flexplate installed correctly.
The front surfaces in the picture face the torque converter/transmission and the larger diameter surface hangs over the crankshaft flange slightly.
Or, in other words, the back surfaces of the flexplate face the engine.

You have it correct John.  :yesnod:

The snout of the tq converter slides into the crank register. If you reversed the flexplate that would not happen and you wouldn't be able to properly mate the engine & transmission together.  ;)

it will only go on one way anyway because of the bolt pattern on the crankshaft....you would not be able to line up all the crank bolts if you tried to put in on backwards
