DESCRIPTION
YEP ! THE REAL DEAL. Well-Documented Ladies and Gentlemen. This is General Lee #6. The 6th GL ever made is offered for sale exclusively here on ClassicCarGuy.com. Wikipedia says it is missing, but here it is! This car was built by the original stunt crew and film crew in Georgia who built GL 1-6 cars. Each of the 1st 6 Chargers were dedicated to a purpose and nicknamed. This was known as the "sling car" and used on the film sets in Georgia for drifting, and "slinging" the car side to side. This car feature original wheels, original gauge cluster, original paint, hand painted flag and numbers, a special driver's seat that held stuntmen in place, special markings on the odometer. The car comes with a grille, no motor, no transmission and no interior and lots of patina. Recommendations for restoration are available. CLASSICCARGUY.COM - WE SHIP WORLDWIDE!

If, and I mean a big IF, it's real, I think it would be cool to make it driveable, but not restore the outside.

Gotta be a kick in the nads when this roach because of it's namesake brings more than Hemi stuff.

For 45 large you would think the seller's photos would provide documentation or evidence of it being the real 6th General Lee.  I've seen nothing to support the sellers description so I'll wait for the General Lee experts to chime in.  Right now its not a car worthy of "big bucks" without some actual proof...

Cooter, my long lost inbred hillbilly friend; long time no insult!

You know as well as anybody that asking 45 large for a roach and getting it are two different things. But if you are seeing asking prices for real Hemi cars for under 45 large in your neck of backwoods in Deliverance county, I strongly suggest you crank up the still and make some money to buy them.

Cncguy

I'd trade my RT project for it.

Really.....do you know of its provenance?  :scratchchin:

Well, somebody had their hands in it to slather the inside & underside with black paint. And, replace the trunk floor.  :scratchchin:

The still has been cranked up, but not by any potential buyers.  :eek2:

I'm only assuming they are telling the truth about its history. That said if he wanted a 1969 RT 4 spd I'd trade.

It's a total Fugazi.

Contact the sellers and see if they will accept $3 bills as payment.

That's definitely happening, unless of course the original driveline can be found.

marshallfry01

How do they think that is a real lee?? They said original paint and graphics. That is no where near the original graphics!! I don't understand people! If you're gonna try to pass off a beat replica as a series used general, at least make it look like one!  :slap:
1969 Charger 383/auto
1969 Charger R/T 440/auto (waiting to be restored)
1972 Chevelle SS clone 383 sbc
1959 Chevy Apache short bed stepside
1968 Charger (glorified parts car)
Yes, I know I have too many cars. My wife reminds me daily.

Ghoste

I thought the graphics changed some in the earliest episodes?
