Looks like it was stored about a mile inland from the Atlantic Ocean.

Not sure if I ever posted this one.   Here is the car being "displayed" outside (!)  at Talladega in 1989.    About a year of outdoor storage accelerated the deterioration of bare metal surfaces where paint had flaked off.
