That's what I told the owner of the car when I was fabricating/building this car, he wanted them because the 71 bodied Chrysler engineering wingcar wind tunnel test pics from 1970 showed them testing a side exhaust on the proposed 71 Daytona (racecar) a street version most likely would have had them thru the rear pan.....but when it's someone else's car they have the final say, even if it's "tacky"
