I must be dumb but how does the plastic bezel above the glove box door attach? Maybe I am not dumb and the very expensive bezels should have come with screws and stuff to attach them? That would have probably added another $30 shipping from CI though. :flame:

Hard Charger

I have recently installed CI bezels. they screw to the frame from/threw the face of the bezel. I believe I used the original screws.

there were no tabs to be concerned about. just a few tabs from the mold that need to be shaved, just like a model would have.

the only thing I did not like is black finish is easy to scrape off. I was adjusting the panels and my finger nail brushed the face and took some paint off the face.

The other bezels have holes to screw them on but not the one above the glove box door..

JB400

It should screw on from the backside of the dash, probably with phillips head screws.

you need to take the glove box liner out , she standard pebble grain  bezel above the glove box , is held on by speed nuts on the back , don't think I have a picture , dash stuff was among the picture information files  I lost a few years back  :icon_smile_blackeye:

I just posted in your other thread:

CI said use screws and washers WTF!!! :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:
Do you mean I know how to install their product but they don't :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol:

JB400

Not to knock CI down any further, but it's about the equivalent to the local auto parts store selling parts.  I only expect them to know the correct part that I want (and to have it), but not how to install it.

comet_666

They called me on Sat and told me they asked the manufacturer and they didn't know either and said use washers and a screw lol

WTF!!! How ignorant is all this. Kinda makes me feel that I should be drawing a portion of their paycheck for me knowing how to install the bezel and them not having a freaking clue :brickwall: :brickwall: :brickwall:
