Hey all!
on my 68, the fuel fills slow when its at 3/4 full.
Is there a vent that could be clogged?
Never seen this before.

thanks!

On HP cars you have a 1/4 vapor vent line that runs from the sending unit to the fuel filter/vapor seperator by the fuel pump.  The only true vent is the tube on the filler neck.

It seems normal by my experience John, I may have had nothing but cars with plugged filler vents but mine have always seemed to slow when nearly full like that.

Same here and nothing's clogged.  If I'm not careful filling up it'll create a big mess as the pump won't shut off in time as with modern cars.  That's probably the most annoying thing about these cars, especially when you fill up weekly.  Last time I tried pushing the rubber of the pump nozzle onto the gas cap to seal it off and the pump did shut off but it still squirted some fuel out the side.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
