I think that was just Ghoul's attempt at humor.  You are right, nothing done to them engine wise, but they did have extra coolers and an upgraded electrical and charging system to handle all of our extra equipment (makes me wish for the good ol' days where you had one switch for your grille lamps and a six channel Motorola two way).

By the way, would that be "top" as in a first sergeant?
