For whatever reason when I sold my 'cuda couple years back I had an unusually high number of crackerheads offering $15k since it was a clone they said.


I've set reserves super high to catch the ones fishing for it at times too.

People love to put down what they know they can't have. I don't like dealing with know it alls, who have the nerve to cut down everything about the car or stuff you got. Don't like the car or price, just walk away!

Hmm :scratchchin:---If they only need the frame to build the car from "scratch" :slap: Does this imply that a bare frame may be worth $3000?

Sometimes dealing with people like this can be fun.  For example---I will sell you a set of drawings for the frame for $500 so you can really start from scratch and save $2500. --Limited time offer with coupon of course.--

How did he prove you are a liar? What made him say your car is a 318?  When I sold my first project for another project, I too got some a-hole's comment about how I was trying to rip someone off. Sold it anyway a week later.

How do you sell a Frame from a UniBody Charger? It's not like it's some old 60's Chevelle or GTO where you can unbolt the frame from body :scratchchin: :shruggy: :slap:

Not to hijack hemi-hamton's thread but I am in the process of selling my Charger due to a major cross country move/first time home buy....and like him, I have found 90% of the replies to my preliminary ad to be total morons/digital tire kickers.

I have actually refrained from listing my phone # due to the amount of "I only have $25k, is that good enough" offers....it's like do people even research..at all?
