Can anyone offer advice on a fuel vapor/rollover valve problem?

I know it's not my Charger but I'm having some dead stop problem with my 1986 Plymouth Reliant SE Wagon that I got in the summer. It had been sitting for the past 10 years under a carport outside not driven. It has 48,000 documented miles on it. I changed the oil, sprayed carb cleaner in the throttle body and the engine fired right up. The fuel tank was full of rusty sand as well as the pump and sending unit dissolved. I've since gotten a new tank, new pump, new sending unit. But cannot find a new rollover valve anywhere. Chrysler says there are no dealers that have them. I've checked EBAY many times and can't even find the correct one at a junkyard. Mine has two hose connections. I pulled one from an 85 Aries that had one connection. I've researched and even joined a K-car forum trying to find an alternative to this lost part. No help. I did see some FWD Charger owners that have had luck with the Jeep single hose connection rollover valve Dorman #911-060. I'm wanting to know if I change it to the valve that has only one connection, can I just splice in the other hose connection using a tee or will it not work or be safe? I don't even know what the two hose connections go to. Here is a picture of mine broken. It's nearly impossible to get one out of a tank without destroying it.
