flanging body panels

I bought an air flanger at Harbor Freight and  was wondering how you would get a deeper penetration flange? It doesn't seem to lay flush with the rest of the fender panel the way it is now. Thanks.

I've got a HF model too.  When I noticed mine not pressing very hard, I noticed the top of it (the assembly that does the stamping) screws into the body & needed to be tightened a few turns.  Might give that a try.

I have a flange tool with no brand name on it and I can't seem to find the owners manual. A few years ago it would not crimp all the way. I removed screw and added hydraulic oil to get it working.
