Yeah he list garbage at outrageous prices all the time, he posts ads on here from time to time. Its funny I can always tell his ads, the cents always is .68, .69 or .70. Depending on what year the part is for.

I almost bought something from him one time, he answered an ad I had looking for something. I responded with an offer, then I got a call from my Mother that my Grandfather had collapsed. He wound up staying in the hospital for 2 weeks, and went into rehab at a nursing facility for another week. It was like 2 weeks before I ever checked my emails, well I had an email where he accepted my offer, then a few other follow up emails, each one getting more confrontational, demanding payment (I know I had made an offer, but like I said I was busy with family matters, and he never bothered sending a pic). After reading those emails, I realized he was a total asshat, and I never bothered doing business with him.

Yes, he is definitely different.

Old Moparz

I have bought a few things from him (Gary) that were reasonable, but that was a long time ago. I even met him when drove from New York to Ohio to get a pair of '70 fenders that were converted to use on a Daytona. He was okay to me, even mailed me a copy of the Daytona parts list from the parts manual for nothing. The fenders I bought from him were in very good shape & he had sent lots pf photos before I made the trip. Not sure if he still has the car but he made a Daytona replica that came out very nice in a medium blue.

Over the years I've seen his prices increase & yes, the parts are not in the best of shape, but I suppose he is selling things to some people. I just stopped looking at his stuff as a serious buyer because of the price & condition.  :shruggy:

Moparsal is probably one of the best guys at getting decent parts for ya.  Sure his prices are a little higher then local Kijiji peeps, but you can't knock dependability.

I agree, and he stands behind his stuff too.  He sold me a part that I needed a correct date code for and without going into details, wrong one arrived and he quickly made it right.  (bought other things from him too)

I've never bought anything from Moparsal, but I've sold him a few things.   :2thumbs:

I remember selling a part to mendy, sent him a pic of the part and the price was very fair. A few days later the same part is on eBay at 3X what I sold it to him for, and with the SAME PICTURE I sent him.
Sure he has every right to flip parts & ask whatever he wants, but c'mon does it take that long to snap your own picture??

You should have got royalties from the sale since your pic was used.

BTW.... Here is, as he describes, a Very Straight bumper on eBay.  ::)
