Got a bit of snow last night in the Toronto area, schools are closed so the children can stay home and help shovel out.   ;D

Ha.  When does the army show up?

TUFCAT

We got 14 inches were I live outside of Metro Detroit.

Here's are the storm totals.  This storm produced the highest snowfall totals of any storm in Detroit since 1974.  :eek2:

Yep, we got a bunch in the last blast we got last week.
I thought this was interesting. My wife took it last night.  There is so much white snow and the clouds were so low it seemed almost like daylight.  She took this at 11:00 PM last night 2/11/15.

Thats crazy brightness for 11pm at night!  Where are you located....the great white North of Canada?  :icon_smile_wink:

Well you would think it is Alaska but Anchorage has less snow than we do, LOL!
We have had an exceptionally brutal winter temperature wise. It hasn't been above freezing since early December as I recall.
Bright and sunny here today as you can see from my back deck, BUT as of 10:00 AM it is - 6 (F) -21 (C).
And you can see the amount of snow on the BBQ grill.

TUFCAT

I agree with ODZ, right now in metro Detroit we are colder than last year in comparison, .....even though we would have been buried up to our asses in snow by now!   :eek2:

Yep it's cold in metro Detroit but that's alright, we're not buried this year so I'll take it.   :yesnod:
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I am teaching my children to embrace winter by participating in winter sports.

Got a lot of snow on the weekend in Ellicottville, NY.  Was very cold (-22C) but still skied for 3 days straight with the family and some friends.

More skiing later this week with my brother and father out west, then to FL in March to thaw out.

Patience my friends, patience!
