I have a friend who introduced me to a guy at a body shop just down the street who's really into Mopars.
He told me to come down and check a project out that he's working on.

They're doing all of the body/paint work on a stripped down '68 original Hemi R/T.

Pretty cool to see a car like that locally.  :2thumbs:

You guys blow me away with your knowledge!
I don't know the exact color names, but they said the color combo will be a light yellow with a white vinyl top!

I'll post pics along the way.

You can also see the torque box for the front spring perch

MxRacer855

If I'm not mistaken too... the K-member looks like it has some additional bracing too (on the bottom portion).
Can't see that in the pic, but are they different in Hemi's?  :shruggy:

They are different.  They have a strengthening plate and the motor mount brackets on the K frame are different.

MxRacer855

I know the motor mounting brackets are different (even though I couldn't see those), but you could definitely tell the K-member was strengthened.

Not strengthened; it just has a skid plate on the bottom to protect the higher capacity oil pan.
