225 Slant Six coolant leakage at rear exhaust manifold stud, What's going on?

My friend had his 225 Slant Six cylinder head fully rebuilt and machined to standard specs by a reliable machine shop. It was installed with the OEM replacement Fel-Pro head gasket and now it leaks out of the rear most exhaust manifold/intake manifold stud. It smokes out from that stud while heating up and then bubbles coolant later, and then drips out underneath the stud. Why would it be leaking coolant out of the stud area? Is there anyway to possibly repair this without removing the head again? No water shows up in the oil or leaks from anywhere else.
