......or out looking for trouble.

Ask yourself that same question the next time you use "Brian Williams" as a smoke screen or springboard to criticize my project.

criticize your project?

I never mentioned anything about you.

Nor did I mention anybody who was building a project.

How many times are you going to change your post until you finally get it right?  :hah:

There's no reason to continue this hi-jack. Since your intention here is to start trouble with me, maybe you should start sending these pleasantries to me via Personal Messages and save this thread from getting locked.....and oh by the way, clean-out your PM box - its full.

We have had presidents that lie...

Yes indeed, the lies are everywhere!  Especially by those who complain the most about "others" who do it.  Here is another classic example of a "Brian Williams" moment.  In the thread linked below (post #336) someone claims that "I WASN'T EVEN INVOLVED THIS TIME".  I guess posting over 70 times in a thread is somehow regarded as not being "involved".  It's funny how some people blast Brian Williams for his "lies" yet they provide same type of "false reporting" when it is convenient for them.  :smilielol:

:smilielol:  That's pretty funny, Dave.  When someone can call someone else out for bad journalism, yet they are 70 times worse in their own inaccuracies in what they do !    :smilielol:

Thanks for attempting to get the thread back where it belongs - about bad journalism and inaccurate (fake) stories.....

Idk what everyone is so surprised about, its the media.
Let me ask you this, why would you put trust in a man that makes 13 million anyway?

Our resident feline is being compared to 13 million Brian Williams?

I doubt he is paid that much.......that's not fair!!!!!

He's being discriminated against!!!!!

Is it some kind of racial conspiracy against cats? Especially TUF one's?

He's being discriminated against!!!!!

No discrimination in the least.  It's actually hilarious in a hypocritical kind of way.  He comes here to repeatedly bash someone for twisting the facts but does it (himself) on a consistent basis.  Here it is again and you don't even need a Youtube clip to see it.  You can see and read it in his own words.  His post #336 in bold print below is followed by the pages of the thread he "WASN'T EVEN INVOLVED" in.  He is involved and "bickering" in ALL but the first page of the thread!  I don't know why he is so upset with the way Brian Williams has conducted himself?!?  It appears his reporting of the truth is exactly the same.  :smilielol:

"All of this bickering by ECS! Now here's the ironic part........are you ready for it??  I WASN'T EVEN INVOLVED THIS TIME  The common denominator is, and always will be ECS Himself!!!  The moderators should please take note of this..."

Especially when they cry to the moderators and claim they, "WASN'T EVEN INVOLVED THIS TIME".  I think this clip conveys the point quite well.

Re-discrimination.....well, you must agree felines would be a minority on this site?  :yesnod:

So it's the politically correct duty of all members, to at all times take into account such minorities feelings, and be sure any of our posts do not offend a minority in any way that would cause undue stress and/or anxiety. :rotz:

We must all do our part to stamp out oppression of minorities. No matter if in this case.....the minority is TUF enough to take it.

As to the second part.......you may be surprised, I totally agree with you.

When I see your interaction with some who post......I most definitely see some hilarious hypocrisy.  :yesnod:

As to the center of all this interesting and entertaining dialogue.......the project itself, I have not keep up with it. I will look as soon as time permits.

I do not have to agree with your reasons/inspiration for doing it to appreciate the awesome skills needed to do it. IIRC, Steve Been is the name of the craftsman doing the metal [please correct if I do not have that right].....as well as you getting your own hands dirty. We certainly can disagree on many things, [inspiration, claims] but do not doubt the respect I have for the process, and those that are doing it.

We have had presidents that lie....I did not have a sexual relationship with Monica Lowenski.

Look, I would be about the last guy on Earth to stand up and defend much of anything Clinton ever did. Honestly though? I wouldn't admit to "relations" with her either.

We know the infamous "Iraq RPG Helicopter story" Brian Williams told....  :badidea:

Here's some more of Brian William's unsubstantiated tales.....  :icon_smile_angry:

**********************

SEAL Team 6:

— In the 2012 "Late Show" appearance, Williams also recalled carrying a box of Wheat Thins, which he said a hungry special operator dug into with a "hand the size of a canned ham." They got to talking, and Williams told the commando how much he admired his knife. "Darned if that knife didn't show up at my office a couple weeks later," Williams told Letterman. — Huffington Post

Blown-Up Black Hawk Helicopter from Bin laden Compound SEAL Team 6:

— "About six weeks after the Bin Laden raid, I got a white envelope and in it was a thank-you note, unsigned," Williams said on "Letterman" in January 2013. "And in it was a piece of the fuselage of the blown-up Black Hawk in that courtyard. Sent to me by one of my friends." — Huffington Post

— In February 2014, Williams elaborated on the helicopter gift in another media appearance, this time on the sports talk show hosted by Dan Patrick. "It's one of the toughest things to get," he said, "and the president has a piece of it as well ... It's made of a material most people haven't seen or held in their hands." – Huffington Post

Fall of the Berlin Wall

— "I've been so fortunate," said during a 2008 forum at Ronald Reagan Presidential Library. "I was at the Brandenburg Gate the night the wall came down." — CNN

The Pope

— While delivering the commencement address at Catholic University that year [2004], Williams said the "highlight" of his time at the school "was in this very doorway, shaking hands with the Holy Father during his visit to this campus." — CNN

Katrina

— "All of us watched [in the Superdome] as one man committed suicide." — Williams to Tom Brokaw, at Columbia University in 2013.

–  "two weeks there was not helped by the fact that I accidentally ingested some of the floodwater. I became very sick with dysentery." — Williams to Tom Brokaw at Columbia University in 2013.

— "Our hotel was overrun with gangs. I was rescued in the stairwell of a five-star hotel in New Orleans by a young police officer – we are friends to this day." — Williams to Tom Brokaw at Columbia University in 2013.

— "I looked out of my hotel window in the French Quarter and watch a man float by face down" Williams told Eisner [in 2006], during his Katrina coverage. — USA Today

Puppy Rescue

— "I remember one such house fire — the structure was fully involved with flames and smoke. I was wearing a breathing apparatus, conducting a search on my hands and knees, when I felt something warm, squishy and furry on the floor of a closet. I instinctively tucked it in my coat." — October 2011, USA Today

— "All I ever did as a volunteer fireman was once save two puppies." — January 2007, Esquire

Christmas Tree Robbery

—  In a 2005 interview with Esquire magazine, Williams said a thief drew his gun on him during the 1970s — leaving him "looking up at a thug's snub-nosed .38 while selling Christmas trees out of the back of a truck." – NY Post

Quitting College

— "I run from the White House to the GW campus for class. I'm still wearing my West Wing hard pass on a chain, and when my professor sees it, he admits that he's only been to the White House on the public tour.  I immediately thought to myself, college is costing money I don't have and I'm a young man in too much of a hurry.  So I left school." — Brian Williams to Esquire, 2005

Early Chrysler Concept and Prototype Vehicle Sightings

—  "A friend invited me to Detroit and my life changed. I became smitten with cars and I decided to move there. I transferred all my college credits and got a job at Chrysler while attending college.  Being an aspiring journalist, they allowed me to look at everything they had in the design studio. I never wrote anything about what I saw.  Unfortunately, this experience ended abruptly when I landed an internship job at the White House and answered an ad for a clerk job at a NBC broadcasting. The rest is history" — June, 2035* - National Enquirer Autobiography..."A look at Brian Williams after 30 Years of Unemployment"  (*) - source: this magazine was reportedly found in a time machine from the future (Author: unknown... it was the future).

Book sold like 110 million copies......now a movie that's pulling in much $$$$.

Suggest you do a search and familiarize yourself with the subject matter of book/movie before you use the "Master" reference again. You might give people the wrong impression of your relationship with Brian.

The term really has not been "hijacked".....it's just one of the many historical uses......Master craftsman......metalsmith/electrician.....etc.

I trained with my kids for 5 years in TKD......Master instructor was always shortened to "Master D" [last name began with D]

As long as you know the reference could be easily misconstrued, given the movie was just released.....like last week.
