He was such a fantastic war correspondent. I think I remember when he said he was there (below).

I guess I don't really see what the big deal is...don't you think that the major news broadcasters embellish stories EVERY SINGLE DAY? News isn't really about keeping people informed anymore, its all about keeping those ratings up. This is not the first time and I'm positive it won't be the last.
Daddy ran whiskey in a big black dodge
bought it at an auction at the masons lodge,
Johnson County Sherriff painted on the side,
just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside,
well him and my uncle tore that engine down,
I still remember that rumblin' sound.....

Sorry, you just don't make up a story about being under fire you ...you just don't..you just don't make up a story like this and get on TV and tell it over and over again....it's a bald face lie not an "embellishment"....his position is based solely on impeccable integrity and he has none.....

For those that don't really see what the big deal is......he lied!  Over and over again, and this is a guy that people trusted to give them the real news.  (That in itself is a joke with broadcast news).   He has no credibly as a newscaster, not that many do since most just read what's handed to them anyway.  Then on the other hand, some such as Brian want to be more rock star than newscaster.

I agree completely.

His career is over....sitting in the news desk that is.  He could still work at NBC - but as a fictional writer.

But seriously, whats up with the last guy on the left's shorts? Who is he...Taylor Swift's grandpa?

I really wish that high-waist cut on women's pants/shorts would not come back.  Seems unavoidable lately.

Not sure.  But, he's doing a better job with them than Taylor.

Not sure.  But, he's doing a better job with them than Taylor.  Like Klinger, he must of been rocking the early "don't ask, don't tell policy!"  :icon_smile_wink:

Just one more thing......people who know me will agree that I hate all liars and fakes - of any kind in the Mopar world.

Extending outward..... Brian Williams is also a fraud.

Here's his original account of what happened in that helicopter in 2003....(another short - just 2:13 long)

He doesn't say he was on that bird. He said he came in behind on another and got stuck in the sand.  :shruggy:

That was his first report (most factual).....later on his story became more and more embellished each time he told it.

Yes indeed, the lies are everywhere!  Especially by those who complain the most about "others" who do it.  Here is another classic example of a "Brian Williams" moment.  In the thread linked below (post #336) someone claims that "I WASN'T EVEN INVOLVED THIS TIME".  I guess posting over 70 times in a thread is somehow regarded as not being "involved".  It's funny how some people blast Brian Williams for his "lies" yet they provide same type of "false reporting" when it is convenient for them.  :smilielol:
