1969 Hemi project.

Here is my new project.  I am going to put a Hemi in this charger.  I was looking into getting that updated front suspension from RMS Alterkation kit.
This is my starting point.
I will keep the pictures coming as I make progress.

The original color was Q5 blue with white interior and a white vinyl top. 
The engine is a 318.

I want to update this charger with alot of aftermarket parts.  I will have a parts list about 2 miles long.  This charger was about 80% complete when I got it.

I am sure I will paint it Q5 blue and put the white vinyl top and white interior back in the car.  I would like to beef up the suspension and make sure that Hemi is up there in HP. 

If not, I can  always paint it orange and put the 01 on the doors

   good find , looks pretty solid in the pictures, it looks to still have the original paint on it to me.  make it look stock  ,but modify the heck out of the suspension ,braking, steering, thats a awesome color combination  ,Q5 -white top- white trim or even put black interior in it would  look good . plus a HEMI making big power ,it will  make for  for an awesome charger when completed,

 thats funny; i thought i was on my thread because i am doing the same thing with the same title only on a 69 runner. sorry about that. thats funny as hell. sounds like you have tackled this before. if you don't mind can i bug you with ?'s the odd time.  thanks; rick

Looks like a decent starting point.

This is how I bought the car.  I bought a grill and it came with the hood and fenders.  Almost all the parts are there.  The one thing that appears to be missing is the drip rail chrome.
