What you read... I know white stuff is hard to keep it clean, but mine is starting to get some dark areas HARD to clean, specially above the rear trim.

After clean it... what do you think is the best protector to isolate from the air/contamination dust... THAT's the stuff I think is getting dirt my roof sticking over it somehow.

I have had good luck with the Meguiars #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner and conditioner followed by periodic applications of the #40 Meguiars Vinyl and Rubber conditioner.

YES!!!  :iagree:
I got caught in a downpour with my '70 at the gas pumps about 2 years ago. The winds were so strong & they blew gobs of black, greasy gunk all over my pristine white top. I went back to the fairgrounds where Meguiars had a booth, and bought some of the Heavy Duty Vinyl cleaner and the Conditioner. A little work with a scrub brush and the top will now blind you, it's so white.
I've used some other vinyl top treatments in the past, and they seem to attract dirt. The Meguiars stuff is non-greasy, and works well.

it could be shipped by air ? Mostly of chemical products are only ground shipped and if so, I can't get them.

I have heard "Vinylex" mentioned on this site.  I bought some but have yet to try it on my vinyl roof because my vinyl roof is still in the box.  ::)

Put down another Meguiars user here.

I found a very common and not so expensive cleaner, that works really well on vinyl inside and out. You can get it at most any grocery store. It's an all purpose cleanre called "orange clean" The stuff cuts through grease, nicotine, and just about any other goo. I use it on everything except cloth.

Once I finish, I usually do the armor all thing. I even used it to clean the leather seats in my escalade and had great results there too... I followed up with a leather treatment afterwards too.

Nacho-RT74

that ORANGE stuff is the same one that is used to clean hands from grease ?

I have heard some about arrmoll all is not the best becasue gets damage the vinyl...

After you get it cleaned a weekly use of Lemon pledge works well to keep it clean.  Doesn't work well on real dirty or stained vynil, but does a good job keeping it clean and is much easier on the vynil than many cleaners such as Armour All, and  doesn't leave a greasy film.

I think the orange cleaner is similar to the hand cleaner but less gritty Natcho.  Still a citric acid based product so I suppose either would work as well?

Foaming bath cleaner in the aerosol can.   I use the little Scrubbing Bubble dudes you see on tv.   Spray the foam on and wipe off. Works great!

No... Its not the hand cleaner at all... Its a all purpose cleaner in a spray bottle.  There are two different types. One is called orange-glo (for wood and funiture and the other is just called orange clean (white spray bottle)

Nacho-RT74

OK, I have to check if I can find it down here

Murphys oil wood soap.  Trust me it works great.  If its really dirty use a soft bristle brush to apply it. :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod:
