I'm an embody owner also and seems the chargers have really climbed in value.

Just depends on the car, engine, condition, factory options etc etc. Would a numbers matching Hemi 69 Charger go for more than a numbers matching convertible Hemi Cuda? Probably not. Daytona might be a different answer though.

I don't know about pricing, but I'll take a b body over an e if it were one or the other.
Well maybe not if it were a 68-69 satellite vs a 71 cuda lol, but overall-yes.

The Hemi Cuda convertible is still the Mopar auction king over the Daytona's by a few million.  The TA cars seem to be hovering in that 60-80 range but the Chargers have always been neck and neck with the E-bodies in the more typically equipped area haven't they?

I buy, sell and own both. My favorite car is my 70 AAR. I've just had it too long. I have never bought to sell any Chargers, until lately. I have sold a 68 R/T 4 speed and a 69 R/T 4 speed and a 69 R/T auto, two blues and one red. I am restoring a nice 70 one owner original white paint R/T auto and air. It is a nice original car. I have to admit they were good cars and all had a build sheet. Just judging the price I sold them and the reaction to everyone that I tell the price too, I could sell a bunch more at that price. I just sold a Coronet R/T and it did not bring what a Charger would bring. A 70-71 440-6 and T/A  e body will bring more, but I think most R/T Chargers will do better than most other e bodies. So, from what I have seen lately, the 68-69 Charger R/T 4 speed is the top of the heap right now. :Twocents:

About 5 years ago I picked up my numbers matching Mr. Norms '68 R/T 4-speed for $2500 off of a wanted ad I posted here on the forum.....glad to see it's still worth at least that much!   :icon_smile_big:

I'll give you $5,000 for it, you'll be doubling your investment.   :D
