BEWARE OF MARKS PERFORMANCE ENGINES, SCARY GUY TO DEAL WITH!

I want to bring everyone up to speed regarding this Marks Performance engines. I had a low mileage 1972 400 with 727 hooked to it. I listed it on Craigslist for $500.00 and have had several inquiries right away. I received a call from Mark who proceeded to insult me and tell me he is buying big blocks all over for $100.00 and that I was out of my mind. I thanked him and said sorry I could make that work but would consider it if no one else wanted it. He kept calling me back and raising his offer but still couldn't make it work. I was extremely polite but declined to want to deal with him as he became vulgar, abusive and down right insulting. Then came the non stop texts, threats and abusive language. HE WILL NOT STOP. I asked him to leave me alone and just move on but it seems that he can't. For crying out loud just let it go. What is with this guy. My advise is to stay away from anything to do with him. I looked him up on eBay and seems he has had a few unsatisfied customers and looked him up on BBB and nothing but bad reviews. Now I am letting all of you know about this guy. BEWARE

I live in the Minneapolis area.  If you can believe it, this guy is still at it with me as we speak. He offers a low ball insulting offer and I decline and he goes psychotic. The more I dig in to this guy the more interesting it gets. He is located out of Glendale AZ and has some interesting reviews. Wow. What an experience!

You have the option of a restraining order (RO) at your local court house. Have the asshole served! He won't be allowed to harass or intimidate you via, text, phone or email. Keep all the harassing texts or messages you have and show them to police. Sorry but I was a Victim Advocate with the police for a few years and now I am in child protection....I can't stand bullies! Even if the guy is bi-polar, he can be served with the RO. Good luck!

Tell him its gone and you're going to take the ad down when you get the chance........ If you keep engaging him he will never leave you alone. Calling the cops just ratchets things up and isn't worth the aggravation.

I agree with all responses so far.  I would still get the cops involved in your city and (Mark's Perf Engines) hometown.  If stuff escalates at least there's a record.

I don't understand why after he became abusive in the first place you didn't tell him the F-off, but at this point I really like the suggestion to tell him that you sold it for peanuts. He deserves some return aggravation.
