That's $6,999.00 and it says it's an original. I know he had an original daytona down there that he was restoring.

Just heard back, the Daytona nose is also a repop  :brickwall:

Hemi Runner

I have one of his repop bird noses. They are really nice. I looked at the headlight assembly but it looks to be one only. For that money, I'd want a pair and a kiss

I was thinking that was probably the case. I don't see any holes in the grill opening flange.

I guess this is an example when "ORIGINAL" does not mean ORIGINAL...  :rotz:

What a bunch of B.S.    :Twocents:

Besides, that Bird cone is askew by one headlight door.   (on the leading edge.)   See it?!!
I've never owned anything but a MoPar. Can you say that?

I went down to pick up a latch tray last year.  Talked with Gene for a couple of hours.... what a great guy....

For a metal nose, worth the money. :Twocents:
My name is Mike and I'm a Moparholic!

An original in that condition would probably go for twice that. I'm not sure Gean is the ebay type so some one else may be doing his ads. Who knows. I don't think that bird nose is the one you'll get. It's marked #1 and the one in the back ground is marked #2. IIRC, those were sold off a while back. I think I bought #3 or #4 out of that batch. There was 10 or so and he wasn't making any more. He told me the die was being reworked to do the daytona noses. Even if I had an original bird, I would be buying one of these before I'd rework any of that stock junk that I see out there. Hell, they weren't this good from Creative......you guys are just too used to seeing over restored show poodles... :popcrn:

I didn't say there was anything wrong with the Daytona nose, but don't say it's an original if it's not.

If anyone knows of a janak nose only for sale let me know I will build my own sheetmetal nose off it .
