70 Charger headlight door emblem question.

Can the "arrow" emblem be replaced directly with the RT emblem or, are modifications, etc. necessary?  Thanks

I do believe it is an easy replacement that doesn't require modification. 2 screws on the back and you're set, IIRC.

its the same on my 69

I have the r/t emblem

its simple in theory, my screws or whatever that holds them are original, had to get loose without stripping them

I tried doing it last fall just by pulling out the headlights....couldnt get it.

i may have to try to figure out how to remove the headlight door so i can set it down on a table
