Does anybody have any knowledge as to weather the 73 400 2bbl had a tube or flexible line to the carb from the factory? I would thing it would have a solid line, but cannot find any info on the subject, even in the FSM. Nobody reproduces them, but that's not a problem as I can make one, but am keen to get the correct routing.
If anybody has one that they could measure and photograph, that would be great.

Should be a prevent factory hard line up to about 2" from carb.

Jason, where is the line in on the carb?
If it is in the same place as the TQ it is quite a twisted piece and difficult to reproduce.  But if I'm not mistaken, a 2bbl I think it is in the front.
Attached is a pic of the TQ line from the pump to carb.

I'm guessing you have a Holley R6454, yes?  It's front. I don't know how much "adjusting" you would need to do to make that piece work.

Should be a pre bent line to the cab.

Yes its a R6454 (Holley 2210). The carb inlet in the front. I assume it would come from the fuel pump and secure between the valve covers and the intake and then bend in to marry up with the fitting. I can make one no problem but it would be awesome if I had a template or some measurements of an original to work with. Anybody know where the best place is to buy fittings and tube from?

ODZKing

Well, here is how mine is routed.  I can send you measurements and LOTS of pics.  I suppose it could take a right turn there somewhere and go to the front.

ODZKing

Just sent you some pics.  I can send measurements of the "curly" end later.
Lemme know if you got them.

while I agree that the line from pump to carb "should" be a solid metal line with flared ends, take note that my 66 Dart with 2bbl carb had a short rubber hose between end of hose and carb nipple.

Also, on all my 383 cars, there is a fuel filter behind the alternator that also has 2 rubber hoses on either side of filter in the pressure line.

Thanks Bob, yes some measurements would be appreciated. I will use those and just modify the end to suit the pictures. A383Wing, I think it must have had a hard line from the factory. Just trying to find one online is a nightmare. That's why I will make my own. From what I have seen and my car is one of them, the fuel filters always had two short bits of hose either side. That makes it easy to change. That's factory correct I believe.

ODZKing

I will send them Jason.  The short piece in the picture screw into the fuel pump then a short hose to the filter, then a short hose FROM the filter to the longer piece.  I purchased this piece from Right Stuff Detailing.
Here is the piece(s) that I ordered ... would save you some bending!!!

However if the 360 is in front and I believe it is, this may work.
