Feels like a hundred years since I have posted any pics. Sort of feels that long since any progress has been made  :brickwall: . Anyway, paint is finally on. Went to the shop today and grabbed a few quick pics. When I got there, there was a really sweet, clean black '69 RT that had been painted a few weeks prior. Shop guy says it is all original. It was a little dirty just from sitting in the shop, but stunning in person inside and out. Really nice car.

reassembly.......that's the fun part. You'll have
fun recreating it.

Thats my ride my friend!  Tim painted it about couple years ago.  About a month or so ago the transmission shop scratched the passenger 1/4 :brickwall:  So Tim had to do a few touch ups.

Congrats on the paint, cool color! Definitely a great day when they come out of the paint booth! What color vinyl top are you going with? Glad to see there is not another black 68 out there;-)
good luck!

That's awesome. I was wondering if the owner was a member on here! Your car is beautiful. I hope mine looks that good when it's done. So far I am really pleased with Tim's work. This car was my dad's and I grew up in it. Not sure if you saw the 69 Coronet convertible in the shop that Tim is just about finished with. That was my dad's also. My uncle brought it to Tim and it looks really good.

Thanks I appreciate it. It will have a black vinyl top, with the black bumble bee stripes on the tail. Gonna have some black on the hood as well, just haven't decided on exactly what.

Both rides are very nice.  I had many choices here in Dallas to paint my car.  I canvassed and did my research very well.  You know he is a busy shop as you can visually see.  First and foremost was the quality of his work.  Met several friends /acquaintances at shows that had work done by him.  All positive.  Second, was customer service, top notch 100% skills.  He stands behind his work and his words!

The Coronet convertible is a beaut and those AC parts your uncle bought a year ago were from me.

Check your PM I sent you a message.  PM your number, we will have to chat sometime.  Also, if you ever need any help whatsoever, get in touch.

Seeing a finished one in the shop must keep you pretty anxious too.  Was the black car local to you or did they say?
