hate their politics, but can't help but digging their music.

Also, I'm glad to see another person here who isn't stuck in 1975.

Here's something a little newer, randomly discovered while listening to Sirius Octane very late at night:

Nothing wrong with 1975 or Hair Metal (I especially have a weird affinity for the latter). Some of the finest music came out of that time.

But let's stop with the "all music back then was good, all music now is crap" B.S. Get over it, times change.

Remember that in the 70s for every Led Zeppelin and U.F.O. you had Seals & Croft and the Pina Colada guy all over the airwaves (and disco...that's too easy); In the 80s for every Motley Crue and Cinderella you had Air Supply and crap like this; in the 90's you had the Soundgardens and Black Crowes on one side and Ace of Base and Vanilla Ice on the other.

Just like now all you hear is garbage like Taylor Swift and Nickelback, but there's a ton of awesome music out there. Just gotta know where to find it.

I never really liked Santana's style of music (which apparently is blasphemy if you're of Mexican heritage like me) but I respected his work.. But then he did songs with the guy from Matchbox 20...that was the end of that.

read the op. post songs. not your bs. check the music charts. check music video views. How old are you.  In my whole life I have never met a person who didn't think Santana was bad ass. You are a first. which means something

I think someone may need to define "bad ass" when it comes to music.    :shruggy:
