Anyone in here see this? Please forgive me if this article has been posted previously, I haven't seen it in here.
If this is a true 1968 Hemi Charger then  :smilie_help: :smilie_help: :smilie_help:

This awesome "Super Muscle Car" is appraised at a value of $250,000

A ton of money was dumped into this Charger but $250,000  :shruggy:

Not my taste at all but each to it's own.

:eek2: Goodness, yeah... That thing is full on ugly..... not enough  :eek2: icons to explain that!!!  :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2: :eek2:

Way too much red.   :brickwall:  The wheels alone suck :eek2:

That is one perfectly good example of how to ruin the looks of a Charger :eek2:

Yuk!

And 250k someone is dreaming lol!

They must have paid a lawyers wages in labor. The parts alone don't fetch half the asking price.

myk

The only problem I see with that car is the red.  That's not just red, it's REDRUM.  I bet if the car was traditionally colored, with chrome (but tucked in) bumpers, non-red-colored exterior trim (like the marker lights), and the black tail panel, along with any wheel other than those ones (like mine ), the car would appeal to a wider audience.  Asides from that, I appreciate the custom spoiler design and the ultra-clean condition of the car.  Too bad it probably doesn't use all of that fancy hardware though-that thing's a trophy queen and probably doesn't even get started.  As for the price tag-that's probably what the owner SPENT on the car, certainly not what it's going to sell for...

Wow is it red , lucky I'm #%£€ing colour blind ,  :smilielol: after seeing that I wish I was ,
Red has never looked good on a charger , with the exception of is it ? R 4 , couple of nice members on here this colour
This is an example of what happens when a ford GM guy who owns wrecking yard builds a mopar ,
Late 70's camaro boot I think they called it a duck tail spoiler , that's what it looks like on this
Lot of money thrown at it , pity some of it in bad taste ,
Why change the dash and make it worse than original ?
It's it's reeeed ,
Oh I know red cars go faster , better paint everything red to get the most out of it

If that car fetched half that price, I would be shellshocked.

I'd be interested to see the 9 second quarter and 220mph top speed happen.

Well, a complete breakdown is not necessary - the article says it was a 440 car (so, an R/T) originally. You just weep instead  :icon_smile_dissapprove:
