Yes its a real A4 silver '69 Hemi Charger 4 speed...buddy of mine on SI owns her.  Some old timers might remember the car (HemiDoug's)  My friend that owns her now is the nephew of the original owner

Easy on the comments fellas.  This a good friend who is a true Mopar guy & does amazing restoration work.  This car was driven in the salt back in the day as well as raced.  Like I said his uncle was the original owner.
Its in good hands  

No Chargers were harmed in making that pic   car wasnt actually "driven" on salty roads....was brought home in the winter on an open trailer...chill!!!

Unequivocally without a doubt there's absolutely no way I would do that to a car.....that's what enclosed trailers are for.  I don't want my car exposed to salt "dust".  Even on a trailer salt gets everywhere.....with the only major exception being spray from tires.

That Hemi car is still at the end of the day a piece of metal with wheels. Since you paid for the car, you can do whatever you like. If you want to burn it, I will bring the petrol to you, I am happy either way. Not my car, not my money, so who cares. 

Hell if the guy enjoys driving his charger in the snow, who the hell is anyone on this site to say you are not allowed to? Pay his bills and living expenses then talk to him, otherwise, let him enjoy whatever he likes.

Not everyone has an enclosed trailer.  It'll wash off.  I see no sense in getting that uptight about it.  If it was driven around all winter like that, different story.

I was just thinking about Doug couple weeks back.  Of course it goes both ways but I'm kinda disappointed Doug didn't say good bye.  Then again it's really none of my business, just like whatever the new owner decides to do with it.

I remember virgin demolition derby cars being sought & bought before before derbied  .  I asked my Dad why the car was removed & he said the new owner needed parts.  I don't remember what I asked next, only his response, "Don't worry about it."

May I ask, did Doug have to sell it?

I disagree Justin. Salty salt salt doesn't just wash off! It finds its way into places that water doesnt reach during a wash.

Once, twice, three times, it really doesn't matter.  Salt finds its way into every nook, cranny, crease, and crevice.  It gets everywhere, and not just on the outside.

Even a dry salty car attracts moisture so it needs to be driven through a hard rain storm (after all the salt has been rinsed from the road preferably this Spring) for at least an hour to flush all of the salt away, then left outside in the sun to dry on A nice day.  Maybe that's what the owner has planned who knows? ....doesn't matter to me.  Let it rust.  Not my problem.
