JB400

Nice video, just need a modern Challenger with the 5.7 Hemi for an equal and fair comparison.

Great commentator, Bud Lindemann doing these old Mopar test drive videos.

I love this line from the 69 500 video:

"With this four letter exciter hung on each side you won't find too many takers at the traffic lights"

That 500 is an incredible car. Waiting for it to show up at a car show. Doubt it will happen anytime soon.

Interesting how the Challenger 383/4spd interior shot, "morphs" into a Ford Mustang automatic/column shift at the 2:27 mark :icon_smile_big:

Reminds me of the movie "Grand Theft Auto" 1977 with Ron Howard. Just past the 10 min. mark into to the movie the spoiled rich kid is about to take off in a maroon 1968 Charger that's at a dealership on a platform. The kid is chasing after his fiancé who ran off with the Ron Howard character and he needs the Charger to continue his pusuit as he just wrecked his Porshe 911 Carrera.

Pic #1 the 68 Charger he took off in
Pic #2 the screen shot of when he's shifting in reverse to back off the platform at the dealership

Not sure what car that shifter set up belongs to :shruggy: but definitley not a 68 Charger.
