Here's what it looks like in Canada!!
My husband first bought this 69 Charger in Sept. '85, after his other one was stolen. He picked me up hitch hiking in '86 (he was 19yrs. & I was sweet 16). We had 4 kids when we had to parked her in '96. She was stored for 4yrs inside until we moved and she had to sit outside for the following 5yrs. After a total of NINE years without her(you guys know...mortgage and kids...where do you find the money ::)). Last summer she went for her "extreme make over". Here's just a few pics of the work that needed to be done.

We tied the frame together, replaced both doors, new full quarters, new floor pans, rear tail light panel(sorry,it was cut out of a '70...but it was a parts car...really),rear valance, new exhaust, rebuilt calipers and new rotors, new gas tank & lines...just to name a few things that were done!
HERE SHE IS NOW:

INTERIOR STILL TO BE RETORED:

Rebel flag is covering the wear & tear on the back seat :icon_smile_wink:

tan top,i dont currently have anymore pics in the computer.the car needs a trunk floor, drivers side quarter panel, rear valence and some interior floor work.from the doors forward it is straight and rust free.it is a 4 spd super track pack car and loaded with options for a hemi car.i bought it off of the old charger site about two years ago.originally a washington state car,now residing in bc canada.

thanks (BULLIT68)  it would be awesome if you  keep us updated when you start the restoration of  the 69 HEMI R/T may be with the odd picture or two  . i remember  reading a wile back that they only made three 66 HEMI chargers in mauve, i might be totally wrong though.

tan top.you are partly right about the 66 charger."they" report that only two were made, but mine is number three.my car is not a well known car.

OK Bullit, I'll bite. Is that '69 a rare 4 speed automatic, or a automatic 4 speed? :D
Both Charger look like great projects.

THE CHARGER PUNK

yeah im guessing some woman owned that hemi charger judging by the coulmn auto shift eh?-MATT

hemihead

Actually the street racers in the 60's preferred the column shift.
Lots of people talkin' , few of them know

bullit68

the car was stripped of everything hemi at one time.it currently has a 440 column auto in it.you can see the proper column that i picked up laying inside.i had to find the k-member,4 spd console,8 track, shifter, dana, trans, hemi bellhousing/starter/flywheel,air cleaner, intake, motor mounts,4spd pedals and many more misc. parts.with the price of 69 engine blocks,i might just go the mp stroker engine route, since it wont be numbers matching anyway.
