I would leave black wall out.  But I'm partial because I don't like white letters on anything.  :Twocents:   :coolgleamA:

White letters on things are ok from time to time...

where is the camel toe. ?

Patronus

The 5.5 bs would've been perfect, then you can shim.
Blackwall = moonshine
White letter = nascar
Charger = yea haw

Always nice to see an old friend!

I like what you've done with it and the wider tires on the rear do give it a nice stance.

Congrats again!

Apparently I'm one of the few who likes RWL out. Whatever, I'm stuck in the 80s I guess. There are worse places to be stuck. :D

One thing that's weird on yours is the sidewall bulge on those rear tires. It certainly does look extreme to me but I wonder if it's a BFG thing because my Cooper 295s don't look like that on 8" rims. I'm thinking about buying two new rear wheels and having the backspacing reduced by maybe a 1/2" or more (more wheel toward the outside) because I've got more space than I like between the outer sidewall and the wheel well lip.

I'll take those for $5.00 ea :cheers: :cheers: :cheers:

I normally prefer them too Bull but I like the blackwalls with the flat black.  Its like white letters would be too ostentatious on it or something.

JB400

Looks like the Charger that Steve McQueen should have drove in Bullitt. :2thumbs:

Arkgl01

I always thought making a 69 charger into a cop car would be cool. Nothing that cant be removed but do a badge with mopar performance unit. Never seen one done and at shows it would be different.
69 440 RT matching.. mostly original!

I have a pic of one somewhere, I'll try and find it.  (I probably found it on here somewhere though)

Cncguy

Looks mean! If you ever decide to sell them vectors let me know.

Arkgl01

I may sell the vectors because I have another set already.

I am biased but ................ leave them black wall out as it just looks right that way!

P.S.  These are 275/60/15 Nitto Extreme Drag Radials on an 8" wide Cragar. They only come black wall and that is what I wanted anyway!

I didn't think I could like your rig any more than before but I didn't know you were running drag radials, ( on a real Hemi car no less ).

charge69

Thanks 472 R/T SE and I love these tires on it as they seem to have awesome traction, except on a wet road!  I never drive it if there is a possibility of rain anyway.  I've been warned more than once by other users of the Nitto Extreme Drag Radials that they are very slippery on a wet road!  Not gonna happen I I can help it! However, on a dry road, I have been known to "punch it" a time or two! 1st and 2nd gear are a real rush!

And, yes, this is a real Hemicar with the original engine, just professionally rebuilt with a hyd. roller cam and lots of new parts!

Really, how much.  :popcrn:

Laxy

That looks awesome, I run the same wheels and have had the same dilemma on white letters in or out. They end up looking good either way. I really should get mine widened on the rears like yours.

I switched to raised letters out but then liked the look so much I left the hubcaps off!

On yours for some reason I like the white letters better. :shruggy:

DC_1

My preference is, if you have old school 15" Dog Dish or Magnum rims I like RWL especially Goodyear or Firestone. If you have modern 17" - 20" rims I like black wall.

Arkgl01

The all black look does look good too....
