Hey gang..
I have been trying to work out bugs and freakin' junk on my PC. I have noticed once again, the AppData/Local/Temp folder is filled to the rim. I try to delete it manually, but get a file count into the millions. I'm trying to go to the Command Prompt level of the windows and force delete it. If I do it the conventional way of "Ctrl-A" to select everything, then "delete", it takes FOREVER and it just keeps going and going on the delete status pop-up and the count just goes through the roof. I have done disk clean-ups in the past. Maybe there's a virus that's producing random files into this "/Temp" folder....

Thanks.

After some observations, this very directory just getting filled with folders and folders.... Soooooo, now I have to figure what's causing all the file creations... As soon as I disconnect the Ethernet, it stops. Does it even when all applications and browsers are closed...

As with any tool of this kind, I strongly recommend making a full system backup and creating a new system-restore point before using it. Better safe than sorry!

I set mine up to delete automatically after every day.  Go to Tools, choose Internet Options, on the General tab, go to Browsing History, click Settings click the History tab, and choose how many days you want to store information.  Also, you will want to go to Tools, click Delete Browsing History, and click through everything you want deleted, and it will be deleted after the set amount of time you selected.

Whatever is causing this, it isn't solely the browser. I have used Mozilla/FireFox, IE and Chrome. Also, when these browsers aren't even on, the files just keep coming and coming and coming, filling up the "AppData/Temp" folder... The only way to stop it is to physically disconnect the internet cable...
