If I had to guess the Fender tag was a mistake & should of been a U but was factory stamped V Accidently. With that Fender tag a Door Vin was made. With the Fender tag & door vin made with that they then got a Vin for Dash made. Worked good enough to fool many. LEON.

I will always look at this car as a U code.  When stories change and are inconsistent they prove themselves to be untrue.  The two inconsistencies that stick for me is how they presented a york Ford type a/c unit as being found in the car stating that it was used to clear the air cleaner in a utube video and in MCG, then used one found on any other a/c Dodge.  The next big one is the proof that the door tag is fake, it's clearly stated in the first thread that it is a repro that was distressed to look aged.
   It's too bad because it is a really nice car, they should of put the correct longitudinal stripe and the V21 hood treatment on it!

All that nice paint underneath and they couldn't even pull the floor pan plugs? The ends of the torsion bars are painted lime green also.

I had family that put some of those together on line. I was told stories about cars that was sapost to have a 318 they put six pack in it so it very well could be true. You never know. My 69 charger had big block  suspension under it it was a 318 car.

The 778/779 bars and 212/212 springs were standard on 318, 383-2bbl and 383-4bbl cars.

I think that it was the rt suspension. Because the guy I was working for it really bad for his roadrunner. He told me I need it in a 318 car. I guess was smart to a point because i told him no.
