I was asking if the Eddy carb was posible to hook it up to the stock divorced choke rod... now, I ask... is there some carb around able to get the stock choke assembly ( aside the TQ and Qjet ones ) ?

mmmm, interesting, but out of budget ( not for me, thinking on $250-280 rate ). Its for a 318 being upgraded with stock laters cast iron 4 bbls intake

Just curious, do you really need a choke where you live?

why not? didn't cars in Florida get Chokes ? Do Arizona and Cali Owners disconect the choke on summer ? LOL.

Engine warming procedure is the same anywhere in the world, just than where I live take less time. While engine is not warm on first start up in the day, any carburated engine will chop at iddle ( more or less ).

We are at this moment on around 65-70º Farenheit ( 18-26 celsious ). Regular spring temp up there

The reason I ask, my car doesn't have a choke, but than again I don't run it when it's cold. Now my 6 pack has one, but it's not installed yet, nor will it be a daily driver either.

  Keep in mind choke is needed until the engine has heat of it's own to operate. Even chainsaws and weed whackers have provision for choke.  Nacho how about a manual choke? Not first pick of what to do but cheap to do. With my job only 2 miles from home and the six pack's having a divorced choke I started thinking about how much time my engine will spend "in choke". A 10.00 universal choke kit has worked out fine and was very easy to adapt.

just wondering about  stock piece to be used in diff carbs than the TQ or QJ posibility, which were stock pieces on stock iron intakes thats all ... extra solutions are around LOL.

price for manual and electric Performance Eddy chokes are practically the same, but was great to use the stock divorced system on the manual one unit
