hi all.    has anyone ever used  diamond pistons on their engines? if so how do you rate them. I'm building a 426 hemi that will have a supercharged system on and roughly putting out 900bhp.   an wondered how everyone rates them for that kind of power?

cheers

Went with Diamond for the wedge I'm doing now.  :shruggy:

I got diamond piston's in my wedge stroker, They seem like pretty nice pistons to me....

No idea on the Diamond pistons as I do not know anyone using them but, they seem to be nice.

When I rebuilt my HEMI, I used JE forged custom pistons. Granted, I am not supercharged and am only putting out about 600hp but, I would imagine they would have no trouble handling that kind of power.  Mine were custom made and JE would probably have to custom make yours also.

What kind of compression ratio are you looking for? Gotta think you would want 7 or 8 to one with a supercharger.

Diamond is a top shelf product. I have a set of their pistons (custom 32cc inverted dome) in my pump gas stroker. A buddy has a set of custom gas ported Diamonds that have been holding up well in a supercharged application making over 20 psi of boost  :2thumbs:
