question for you guys

I want to get some new rims and tires for my car, i like the look of the magnums so im going to stick with that. For tires probably BFG's

what i want to know is where can i get a new set of magnums for a good price. Year one has them, classic industries, coker tire..etc..

where did you guys find the best price for rims?

on a side note, id love to run a little bigger rim and tire combo.....maybe 16" or 17" ......but whats the biggest tire i can get for the car on stock suspension that wont rub or have any issue?

I bought mine from specialty wheel got a package price and a discount for DC com members. came mounted and balanced lug nuts and center caps I was pleased. Call around and get what works for you just do not forget to include of mounting and balancing if you buy them separately. Also the magnum's have to be balanced on a hub they claim they can not be balanced from the center. Make sure you can get that done locally if buying seperate

X2 for Specialty wheel. Avoid Wheel Vintiques like the plague.

What is the issue with Vintiques? I have decided to change from 14" to their 15" Magnums to enjoy a better tire selection, and was literally minutes away from pulling the trigger.

I can only speak about my experience with WV.
I bought my mag 500's from them, I had them on my
car only a few weeks when I noticed the black
paint between the "spokes" peeling off!
I called them and the guy who answered the phone
blew me off saying I should contact the owner which I did
in a letter.......wouldn't answer the phone or return my call.

Thier "fix".........they sent me a used spray bomb with
no label! True story.

Vintiques used to come to some of the larger local swap meets, I bought 2 sets of 500's from them at a pretty deep discount; no complaints, they even lugged them to my truck.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Bought a pair of 6x15 and 7x15 from Coker.  The 6" were perfect, but, the 7" had paint issues and were left rough before chroming.

While getting it straightened out, I went down to Summitt Racing and took a look the WV.   Looked at four different rims.  They were awful.

Stopped  at Coker and we went through rims until I was happy.   But, every rim I rejected was better than the WV.
BTW, Coker=Speciality (at least on the 7").

I also have to mention the folks at Coker were great.  I would buy from them again even if it cost me a few more bucks.

anyway... arent all OF EACH kind of wheels made by same manufacturer? I don't think each ones of the ones you mention are MANUFACTURERS.

Sooo are we talking about quality product or quality service ?

quality product... if being one manufacturer, could be more just about random products ( bad or good lots )  arriving to each dealer.

:scratchchin: dunno
