    Hey Danny,,I,been wondering what ever happend to the C5OO that  Red Kelby ow end  out in Colo,, As I recall it was copper with a factory SUN ROOF. It was a neet car, and he was a neet guy..

Well, what can I say, you get old, cant tell one car from another, I think I got color right, and I,m positive it had a hole in roof.   Danny ,, My r-4  green car came from same dealer as Genos.

Good point about the 500 logo.
Mother Mopar should have dropped it after 1969.
It had been uesd as several trim-models up till then.
Even now Folks say to me, what's all the fuss with them 69 Charger 500's?
ITS ONLY A TRIM OPTION, not unlike 440 Coronets with 318's...
So you have to explain its a limited run of 500 Nascar homologation cars.
BUT, they only made 392, that's why they were called.. err... 500's???
Oh you mean them there Daytona's with the nose cones that Folks converted back to Chargers!
I heard they even took the Hemi's out and put OLD fashioned 426 wedges in there so they could afford to insure them too???
Anyways they all got smashed up at racetracks...so on and so on..............
