I've seen that before and it's really cool looking.

It's probably a redneck invention...someone dropped some gasoline in a Sanden style A/C compressor and lit a match  :lol:

I love this stuff :2thumbs:  As I recall the wankle engine had a weak spot (the wipe seals)  It was a tough enough problem and may have been the primary reason the idea did not catch on very well.
That history makes me wonder about this engines sliding/sealing surface across the combustion chambers.  A tough place for a lasting seal.

yea, the tip or end seals were a problem with the rotary engine

Some where on utube, there is a video of an old, axial or radial motor in a car, early 1900's. That has a fixed crank shaft ,and the entire motor revolves, as opposed to just a spinning crankshaft. It's just something you don't see everyday.
