TOOL for access to pin type harness connectors

Either of these a suitable tool for extracting/ inspecting/ fixing these connectors?

Small flathead screwdriver to remove the female connectors and the same + small needle nose pliers to remove the male connectors.  Works like a charm.  If the bulkhead connector is old it may break when putting even the slightest pressure on it.  Mine crumbled into many pieces so I bought a new set which is oe of the best things I've done to this car.

pliars and small flat screw driver ,
just done my bulk head and plugs because being brittle, dont forget the little insulation gaskets and die electric grease

Thanks for the info. I will give it a shot tomorrow on my 69. My female bulkhead looks okay but the middle male connector is melted where the amp wires go through. I've got a new connector and male terminals from charger specialties. My concern is getting the old wires out of the melted connector. I will try the pliers and screw driver though.
