Sorry to be blunt here but to hell with christmas.  This is a whole lot more important than some holiday.  They'll get over one ruined christmas, they may not get over what is destined to happen without interference.

You're doing exactly what you need to do Skip, never feel bad for that.  Think bigger picture.  Getting this sob off the streets is the most important thing to do and you are making it possible so my hat off to you sir.

I don't envy what you need to do but admire you seeing this through.  Way too many people see something that's not right and just hope it goes away.
A jerk like this may not be harmful like a killer but what they do is cause long lasting harm to their victims. That harm is usually deep and will follow them the rest of their lives. I hope the girls have a chance at good direct conversation about this while it's fresh in everyones  mind. Too often the victims are left on the side lines in these cases when they are the ones that need the most help.

Just a quick update: chuck is monitoring the cameras (as we watch this stupid snake program),  and just now the perv came out and had his cell phone at the girls window!!!!! GOTCHA YOU SOB!!!!! THATS ANOTHER CHARGE!

On Thursday the mom, daughter, and son left with luggage. We didnt know what to think. But they did return at midnight sat. Funny coincidence that perv NEVER came out while they were gone .

I'm feeling kinda sheetee tonight because i know what's about to happen tomorrow morning.   I'll be turning over all the evidence and statement to the sheriff's department.   Then it's out of my control and hands.   I know that this is going to be one hell of a mess for the mother and kids especially before Christmas.        
I know I'm doing the right thing but it doesn't make it easy.    I'll probably end up the bad guy as usual but that's o.k. and I can live with that.   

Never feel bad about doing the right thing.

Sometimes people can misinterpret a one time occurrence......but there's no doubt here......so good for you. Too few want to "get involved" yet will say later "why didn't someone do something?"

I think what you are doing to catch & stop this guy is good, but I think you could be making a HUGE mistake posting about it while including photos on a public forum. If anything, you should wait until it's over. Think about it this way. If the ball starts rolling & the prosecutor drops it, meaning an arrest is made, then because of some loophole or mistake the charges are dropped, the guy is now free & may find a way to sue you for slander since he was never convicted.

You make a very good point.
However I am one that believes part of the bigger problem is too many people are intimidated by the criminal protections that add to reluctance to get involved.
As for posting this story? ---The more that hear about it the better---It helps open eyes and conversation as opposed to dismissing what is right in front of us for fear of personal persecution. (This media is not evil. It is leaps and bounds better than the old days when this sort of thing was just local and hushed up)
This reminds me of a topic in a CPR class years ago. ---Why would one try to perform CPR/first aide on a stranger? I might get sued.---The fact is it is a very hard long road to get a judgment against someone that is doing what is just plain right. (and their are laws that make that so)
Let's say this guy does want to fight. He will spend all he has and be exposed much further for what he is.

If it were me trying to stop some scumbag like Chuck is, I sure as hell wouldn't say a word to anyone or even post about it on a public message board. You have to hope that the scumbag or his lawyer don't end up using it as the reason he gets off on a technicality. Is Chuck's video surveillance recorded on a hard drive on his computer? Will the computer become the evidence that helps prosecute the scumbag? That means the scumbag's lawyer will have access to his computer & find all of Chuck's weird crap & have Chuck found guilty by reason of insanity.

I'm very aware of slander laws and what constitutes slander.  All evidence has been turned over to sheriff's department this morning.   Yes they got into my laptop and copied all perv files.   Except mine.       
I've been quiet about this for over a year and now it's at the point i feel comfortable talking about it here with ZERO risk.  I do understand what you're saying though.   Any time I start to share information, I've already got everything I need and only share certain facts and details.   I almost know what I'm doing.

No.   They are all underage.   I'm guessing the daughter was around 14 when they moved here and it was going on over 2 years ago.   She just started driving this year.

The sheriff's department told me that this was going to a special crimes unit and that's all we new.      
I don't know what the holdup was but it's definitely moving now.   I don't know how i end up policing the world but I always win.

Trust me Steve, you'd do the same.   When our sheriff saw some video he was quiet for a second and then told us it's clearly disturbing and they will take care of this.

That is why I asked why the coppers hadn't done anything yet. I knew I read you thought he was in MANUAL MODE. I just figured it didn't come out good enough to nail him and that was why the coppers had not moved then.

Actually I would have dealt with this very differently. I would have cornered the wife and asked her for her cell phone number for emergencies. Then when you see him doing his thing, I would not only film him, but also call her and tell her to sneak out around the house to see this for herself....

It is pretty obvious that you will be named if he gets picked up, so that must not be an issue. But for his own wife to catch him in the act (AT HER DAUGHTERS WINDOW) would probably end the issue without the taxpayers taking care of him... Of course you might have to visit her in prison, but I think he'd get what's coming to him.....

I just ran across this topic and it saddens me that we live in a world with such sickos.   I hope he gets charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for his actions.  Maybe life sentence in a mental ward would be a good place for him, along with a lobotomy or two for good measure.  The one preventative suggestion that I thought of when I read this is to buy some of that reflective limo tint and have the windows of the house tinted that way.  I know it is a pain to have to do this, but it would at least stop him from being able to look in when the windows are closed.  I hope this gets stopped soon...
