I am looking at sending out my rimblow wheel to get restored. Anybody have some feed back on likes/dislikes of wheels done by Gary's Restorations or Jerome Verbit??? Thanks to those who take the time to answer.

Just 6T9 CHGR

I have heard many great things about Jerome.  He does excellent work but the wait time is outrageous!

Doug Lepak is also highly recommended as well.....

Hi Chris, thanks for the refferal!  :icon_smile_big:

Hey Rich, if you'd like a quote for me to repair/refinish your wheel, please e-mail me at : stwheels@shaw.ca

I attached a close-up picture of what my finished Rim Blow wheels looks like.

I know you already partially answered some of what I will ask you but these are the standard questions I put to all potential customers . Once I have the answers and a couple of pictures I can give you a price and a turnaround time.

1 - How many cracks are there , where are they located on the wheel and
approximately how wide is each crack ?

2 - What condition are the spokes in? Is there any pitting or peeling of the chrome plating? The spokes can be re-plated!!!

3 - Where do you live ? ( this is so I can give you a better idea of the
turnaround time including shipping )

4 - What year , make and model of vehicle does the wheel belong to ?

5 -  If possible could you attach some photos (front + back) of your wheel to an e-mail ?

VERY IMPORTANT!!!
The spokes can be re-chromed. I've been working with Steve Lowe at Victoria Plating for the last few years and he has perfected the technique.

You can see his web site at: http://www.victoriaplating.ca/default.aspx?PageID=1000

Thanks again Chris, I've been meaning to sign up on this site for a while and from the warm welcome I've received I can see it will be a kool place to hang out.

Here is a shot of the wheel mounted in Al's car. I know it's not a Charger but what an awesome 71 Cuda! and he drives it ALOT!!!
