On the vin number on the dash  the letter that stands for the engine code,what would c stand for on a 69 charger?

C stands for a special order 6 cylinder engine. Not sure what that might be specifically.....But that is what an old vin decode printout of mine says....

There is no "C" for 69 Chargers.......B is for the /6

But hey......never say never!

It is likely a "G". My car has a difficult to discern stamp, too. Even the title said "C" there when I bought it. Like an idiot, being young and dumb as I was... I opened my mouth about it at the Title Office, and asked if they could correct the mistake. Approximately 6 months and much heartache later, I finally did get a title with the correct VIN printed on it.
