I don't see any mention of tag or broadcast sheet, and even with that it's all the money at 85K (ad says?) So I don't see that being realistic but then again it may be worth it to someone..   :Twocents:

I agree, no mention of any documentation and if the car is a matching number drivetrain/body as well.  The car was built with the intentions of being concours correct but is lacking many many details/items to even come close.  The price he is asking 85k in my eyes would be for a matching numbers drivetrain/body and more correct per it's build sheet/fender tag, perfectly restored.

Ghoste

And even if it were perfect that's a stretch imo.

Is there any non-original sheet metal in that pic?

Well, if you look at it that way, you do have a point.

I know of a fully restored, concours 69 Hemi RT for sale that I can have for 100k.
Why pay 75K...a guess at a price he would take...for a 440?
Just a thought.

Concours is a nice touch but is the car matching #'s mechanical and body with docs?  Whats the color ext/int?

I would pounce on it at 100k if it meets the above statements.

I love T5   :Twocents:

I'd like to see it in person...  from the pics the color looks a little off  :shruggy:    Underside pics look good but something just looks a bit too dark in some pics.

I'm glad Sinnamon won't have a vinyl top FWIW.    Saddle or parchment top would look better on this one I think.

my uncle has a 69 charger "white hat special" sitting in a barn since 85

His car is a copper color, but its darker than that, almost a dark brown...maybe a t7 brown

its a 318 2 barrel....white vinyl top....727 column shifted car....

I like the color of his, its almost a metallic ....very different

Ghoste

If you ever have a chance to get the numbers off of it. (hint hint)

Not sure what it's worth, but asking price is $85,900

Is 1968 bronze (Turbine bronze?) have a more pinkish hue than the 69 version?
Here is the 1968 RT for sale on cars-on-line:

if your talking to me about my uncles car, I have not. Its sits in a barn where its been since 85. The guy who stores it for him leave for Arizona every winter and I think he is gone now.....

If I see him outside I will swing in and get the vin for sure. Its a very cool car, got the old keystone rims (I think they were called that)

if I remember right I think it has 4 flat polyglass tires ....

Agree with Moparnation, if everything checks out, buy the 69 Hemi RT.

jww426

The seller enameled me a message:

"Engine numbers and body numbers match with the vin,  the transmission numbers do not match.  Have all recipts regards to all work done for the restoration.   I do not have the build sheet

Thanks for looking at the car."

Just an FYI

jww426, What about the 69 HEMI charger?

Did anyone call & get VIN and/or fender tag info?
I use to own a '69 T5/black/black 440 4-spd stripe DELETE R/T ~25 years ago in northeast Ohio, but it got restored blue & white after I sold it - sorry no pics.
A friend owned this T5/black/tan 440 4-spd stripe DELETE R/T at the time.

Wonder if it is one of them?  :shruggy:
