Most Authentic Engine Heater Hose Where to Buy ?

Looking to do some detailing on a 1970 Plymouth bbody big block car and want to get the most authentic looking heater hoses. Hoping to find something that has part # and date codes. Anyone bought this stuff lately that can shed some light on this? Thx

This kit is kind of pricey but, it looks pretty complete.  MOPAR part numbers but doubt if you can find date coded hoses.

I thought that the date code on a hose (or any other part for that matter) was a way to identify it to be original.
If someone has been re stamping hoses with made up dates is that not intended to deceive?
I get that it's just a hose but when someone (a judge for example) sees the date are they expected to believe it is 40 or so years old? Or are they expected marvel at how well it was recreated?
So my point I guess is what's the point if the car has more than a few hundred miles on it?

I don't think date coded items are meant to deceive- it is just trying to be as accurate as possible. If not then there would be no reason to look for the 'most correct' parts available And we would all just go to Autozone.

Btw- My heater hoses are Autozone cut to fit. My car did not warrant original style hoses but there are those that do.

they have been making date coded repo everything for a while now      rad hoses ,heater hoses plug wires etc etc

What is even more frustrating than the price is the quality of the materials.  Very soft rubber in my opinion.

Date coded items are sought after all the time. For example engine blocks, exhaust manifolds, etc. Their date codes are part of their fabrication and are the next best thing to the ones that came with the car. They were produced at the time they could have been used on the car.
As far as I know items like these are not reproduced with old dates when they have been recast.  If they were than collectors would be moved to find another way to identify the original from the repop.
Like I said what's the point of having the fake date stamped on the hose. Who will appreciate it and why?

people restoring to day one that can't find or afford NOS buy the next best thing    there have been several articles in MM and MA about detailing your engine bay etc.   

anyone remember the guy with all the one of ? cudas and challengers in the mags  from back in the 90's , that screen printed his heater hoses etc to make them authentic   back when if you didn't have NOS that was  tough

These will not have a date code and you will have to assemble the kit yourself. I would imagine these people would get you as close as anyone and would help with what you need.

They have the proper part numbers. They are not dated. Not all hoses were dated. Depends on the vendor. the hose plant and the year if they were or not.

Years ago a company called Almost NOS were date coding various different hoses....Not sure if they still are.

Date coded repops are fine for a OE Gold type resto were everything needs to be correct. The new hoses are made of a different material and thickness that are easy to discern over originals.

As far as your YouTube link, I think that goat is used in a recent TV commercial, I think for Sprint LMAO
