Now in comparison, this car looks a hell of a lot cleaner for pretty much the same money.

Of course, the green interior & roof kill it for me, but it still looks pretty nice.

Fast forward to now, yeah there are a lot of Charger-snobs here, but if you're looking to put down your hard earned cash into a 40 year old car, this message board, for better or worse, will help you spend your money WISELY and get you the car that you deserve.  I wish I had the resources, information and this message board in 1994 when I was looking for my Charger...

Exactly. Being "nice" will undoubtedly lead to someone getting royaly screwed. Would you rather these guys sugar-coat everything and convince a first-time buyer to get stuck with a roach? Not me. I will take honesty over phony every time when it comes to spending tens of thousands of dollars.

Anyway, I didn't go through all the comments to see if/when someone mentioned this but aren't the bottoms of the doors supposed to match the body color? They look like satin black on the blue car. Whatever it is doesn't look right.

The door bottoms are correct.  The inner door frame is body color from the door skin to the seal, from there it is the color of the interior so it all matches when you close the doors.  Mine are body color all the way and it looks pretty bad.  I think on a black car with black interior like yours it is just gloss body color everywhere, but I could be wrong.

 for reference ,   inner door frame color on mine was like a semi gloss black ( was original factory paint still ) , have black interior 

as far as I know  , they  were always painted interior color
