Ive heard awful things about goodmark quarters, would like advice from people who have used them. I am going to keep the door jamb/ lip from my factory quarters in place so I don't have to mess with  door gaps. any other issues with the goodmarks that could cause me to reconsider them?

My opinion.........I think you'd be better off going AMD.
I'm sure GoodMark makes some good parts but AMD is a given.

If you're talking about the "full" quarter skins that Goodmark has been selling for decades (which stop below the vinyl top trim), stay away.  Bad fit and flimsy metal.

The AMD quarters/skins have huge wavy spots they shouldn't.  But at least it's a real quarter.  It's made of solid metal and the shape is not 1/2" off.

Goodmark does make full quarters now, but I've heard that the center style line is way off and there wavy.

I was also wondering this as well. I know they make full quarters now but was unsure of fitment. I have frame rails and floors and crossmembers for my car a mixture of amd and goodmark and honestly I can't tell the difference.

Goodmark is fine for rails and floors and such, but for skins I'd stick with AMD.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

AMD are a good fit, a little long on the top window rail and wavy folds!

But HEY, its thick metal and better than RUST!!! :2thumbs:

So when I order my set of full quarters from AMD I am going to be disappointed?
Waviness does not sound good to me!

In my experience, happy with fit up at weld points, fell right into place. No with the styleline that goes down center of body, mine was 1/2 inch higher just above the wheelwell on right side, but correct front and rear of panel.

So no waviness?
How did you fix the style line?
Also how long ago did you purchase your quarters?

fizz

3 years ago, actually just a little wavy above the styleline forward of the wheelwell. Straightened it taping where the styline should be, mudding and priming up to the tape line and boardfiling.
