   Anyone here ever shoot any kind of Go Pro video with a Charger!?  If so, would like to see.  I plan to get one and do some shots myself with a friend or two!

@Drache

Where are you located? Awesome nature and great roads for cruising.  Such a vast scenery is something I can only dream of in this part of the world....
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Williams Lake, BC Canada!

Interesting thing is, I can go one direction and it turns into "desert" and go the other direction and turns into deciduous forest or go another direction for beautiful coniferous forests.

Not a very exciting video.  Trying to figure out the data logger.  But it is a Charger.

I do a lot with GoPro Cameras.  The later ones are really nice.  You use to need the backpack to "see" what you were doing, or a glare to catch the "red" record dot.  With the built in WiFi you can now use your phone to start/stop, but also check the vantage point.

The suction cup is STRONG.  I've run the stock GoPro unit down roads at 100+ into a strong Texas wind...You can get cool shots from unconventional mounts.

I have a lot of them up across a few channels, most notably AAM and LSM...I may have done one from a Charger or two...if not it was HD standard cam.  I know I've run the GoPro on countless late model Challengers and Vipers though...gives you a feel for the quality and sound.  Only downside, in race footage, a lot of people mistake the "wide angle" for bigger distances.  You could be back 2 cars and it looks like a hundred feet.

Thanks for posting :cheers: So, after the testing for the mic location. Where do you think its best?

JamieZ

I actually ended up using 2 different external mics and a sound board to do the mixing.  The main audio is from a mic mounted near the license plate.  It gets a good exhaust and tire sound without much wind noise.  The secondary is in the cabin on the passenger sun visor.  keeps it out of the way and lets you get some of the cabin sounds (shifting, turn signals, etc)  Sound board records them both and lets me adjust the volume of each separately.

Very nice video of a stellar Charger ! I, also agree, we need to hear the Charger, not the music!

It was my first time and had no extra microphones such much of the video had wind noise from the camera mic....so threw music on to cover it...teething pains

You know, I've shot a lot of video just with a hand held camcorder from inside the car but seeing the Go Pro stuff has me thinking that would be a much better option.  So much more you can do with it.
I just wanted video I could watch in the winter to get me through the times I couldn't drive the car but this toy adds a new fun factor to it all with the ability to mount it in different locations and such.
